Yesteryear actress TG Kamaladevi has passed away at Chennai on Thursday. She was 84.  Kamaladevi acted in more that 50 films in both Telugu and Tamil. She received critical appreciation for her outstanding performance in the flicks Velugu Needalu, Pettamdarlu, Abhimanavathi, Illarikam, Mugguru Maraateelu, Dakshayagnam, Patala Bhairavi and Balnagamma. Kamaladevi had also given play back to many films.

TG Kamaladevi was born in Karvetinagaram in Chittoor district. She entered film world through stage shows. She even received Kalaprapurna Award for her excellence in dramas. The relatives of Kamaladevi told that the last rites would take place on Sunday,
