Shooting of many films such as Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which has Samantha in female lead was stopped for quite sometime since Samantha was suffering from skin ailments. To all those producers, there's some good news. Samantha is okay now. The apparent marks on her face, which kept her out of camera, have disappeared and Samantha turned up to one of the sets.

Samantha even turned down good offers due to her ailment. She reportedly rejected Shankar's I movie and Mani Ratnam's Kadal as she could not work then. It may be noted that Samantha's recent Telugu flick by maverick director Rajamouli, Eega was a big hit.
