Silver screen sweetheart, Shruti Hassan said she was happy with the response she received from Gabbar Singh. Shruti Hassan has thanked the God that she wasn’t compared to Sonakshi Sinha into whose shoes Shruti was in. It is known Sonakshi’s role in Dabang was played by Shruti Hassan.

Shruti Hassan, who is the daughter of legendary Kamal Hassan, said she is enjoying every bit of success and thanked Telugu audience for making Gabbar Singh such a big hit.

Although it was Pawan Kalyan who rocked the theatres, not to forget the extra colours that this beauty added to every frame in which she appeared.  The beautiful actress has said that it had been very exciting playing Bala in Gabbar Singh.  While Gabbar Singh is undoubtedly a big hit in the state, the film has been well received even in the United States. The reports indicate that the film has collected a whopping $577,090 so far in US and the collections are expected to increase. Also, Gabbar Singh is likely to surpass the collections that were made by Hindi flicks such as Rock Star and Desi Boyz.   (Phani)
