Rana Daggubati, who made the Bollywood debut with Dum Maaro Dum has cleared the rumours that are in air about his dating with Bipasa Basu. Rana has said that Bipasa Basu was just his friend. It is known that Bipasa appeared opposite Rana in Dum Maaro Dum that was bombed at the box office of the first day of its release.

There were also rumours that Rana entered Bollywood with the efforts and recommendations of Bipasa Basu.   Rana has said that he has stopped looking into the media reports as he was fed up denying them. He felt it was better to ignore them.

Rana, who said Bipasa Basu was just a good friend in Mumbai, hasn’t told the media anything about his personal side. On the other hand, Bipasa Basu’s love life has been speculated by the media ever since she broke up with John Abraham.

Rana is going to appear in a major role in Ram Gopal Varma’s Department that’s scheduled to release this month.
