Superstar is a man of the masses and never liked people being sad. He goes out of his way to help them overcome grief. With the same ideology `3’ climax has been changed at his behest.

Dhanush seems to be gifted with a Midas touch from day one, on his new venture `3.’  First his unique debut as singer and writer for Kolaveri di song, for the film, he scaled dizzy heights globally. Then he was awarded as most popular male celebrity vegetarian by PETA. Now after viewing the first copy of his `3’, none other than the Superstar Rajnikanth himself has scripted the climax for the film. The film which originally had a negative ending had been changed to a positive one at the behest of the Superstar.

Dhanush `3’ is directed by his wife Aishwarya Dhanush, who is the Superstar’s daughter. For initial comments on her debut assignment the daughter showed the `rush copy’ to the Superstar. Impressed by the film, Rajni blessed his daughter of success and requested her to change the ending into positive. After hearing the comments from the Superstar and his logics for the change, Aishwarya immediately decided the change.
