Though Swathi is a well-known Heroine today and has also started her career as a play back singer, won an award for her first song ‘A Square’ in the film ‘100% Love’, Swathi is still known as ‘Colors’ Swathi, the very first T.V. talk Show through which she was introduced as an Anchor.

Like any other new comer Swathi has started her journey as an Anchor in small screen, but unlike many other Anchors, she managed to become popular like anything… it did not take much time for Swathi to let her talent speak and bag her some well-known movie offers, to work with some known directors.

Today, Swathi is an established actress in T – Town as well as K – Town. But Swathi says she does not believe in stardom, ‘I just want to live life as per my terms and do not want anyone else to dictate my life. I love to roam with friends, live every moment of life and enjoy my life to the fullest. I prefer to love my work rather than working for money or fame’, said the actress, who attended a promotional event in Chennai.

Swathi spoke about her one weakness as well, ‘My loose tongue. That’s what I can say. There were many situations in which I have ended up being on the wrong side just because of my inability to control what I speak. I am working on it and would set this right’, said the actress…
