Sanjana who acted opposite Prabhas in Bujjigadu borrows problems by lending money.  She is facing threat to her life because of no fault of her.

According to the report Sanjana made to the Bangalore police, she lent Rs.13.5 lakh to Prasad Malhotra who is a long known person as a family friend who is engaged in wood business. 

Malhotra who borrowed money from her in 2012 also borrowed more time to repay when Sanjana asked for the repayment.  After the expiry of the borrowed time a cheque was issued to Sanjana for the settlement of the loan but the cheque was bounced. 

Then Sanjana demanded the repayment which promptly made Malhotras to threaten her with dire consequences.  Even the attempts from Sanjana for an out of court settlement failed to get response from Malhotras.
