TDP, cong join hands in Kadapa to defeat Jagan man

Jagan group, MLC elections, TDP, joining hands, Kadapa district TDP leadersStrongly believing in the principle that the enemy of an enemy is a friend, Telugu Desam party is preparing ground to join hands with congress party in the MLC elections from the Kadapa district to defeat the candidate of former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy’s group.

The Jagan group, which initially said it was not putting up a candidate for council elections from the district, has changed its mind and asked D. Narayana reddy, brother of MLA Mr Adinarayana reddy, to contest for the MLC seat.
 
With a view to defeat the candidate of the Jagan group, agriculture minister YS Vivekananda reddy, in charge minister for Kadapa Mr Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, another minister from the Kadapa district DL Ravindra reddy and APCC spokes man Tulasi reddy have started negotiations with the TDP leaders of the district Mr Madanmohan reddy, Palakonda rayudu and Putta Narasimha reddy.

Sources said that the TDP leaders have decided to cooperate with the congress party in order to defeat the Jagan group candidate. The TDP leadership is also of the view that it should not put up candidate in the MLC elections from the district as Jagan is their enemy and his candidate must be defeated. And joining hands with the congress party will ensure the defeat of his candidate, a TDP leader said.
