Valentine's Day to become  Divorce Day

Ahead of Monday’s Valentine’s Day, there is a disturbing news in the air  for the new love couple. In a survey loverconducted by London’s ‘The Daily Mail’, the news has come to the light that Valentine’s day is losing its sheen as an increased number of couples are getting separated on Feb 14.  

Usually, the day is remembered about exchange of  chocolates, roses and gifts, but over the last two years the trend has changed as lawyers, papers and hatred are making way for chocolates, greeting cards, bouquets, gifts.

There is a rising number of couples who are filing for divorce on Feb 14, the Daily Mail reported.

The New York Post has also come up with a similar story highlighting that there is a 40% rise in the number of requests for divorce over the last two years.

Certainly, the news has come as a spanner in the festitvity of the mood.

Bajrang Dal, the outfit of the BJP has been clamoring for scrapping of Valentine’s day celebrations as it is an upfront to the nation’s  religious culture.
