Story

Akanksha, daughter of a wealthy Union Minister of India, goes to Spain to study and lives in a rented house which previously was occupied by Komali who left her diary there. By going through the diary Akankasha develops interest in the love story of Sanju and Komali and contacts Sanju. She starts teasing Sanju with the details she learned from the diary of Komali. But the diary does not have total story of Sanju and Komali in it. Out of the keen interest created by the diary of Komali, Akanksha asks Sanju about the remaining episode of their love. Then Sanju reveals the truth that was very tragetic and it moves Akanksha.

The story is well told by Puri Jagannadh in his own style of visual presentation. For better satisfaction one should watch on the screen.

Analysis :

 Iddarammayilatho-review

If you expect some new punch dialogues, new dance steps and heroism, “Iddarammayilatho” disappoints you. If you like the soft touch of a sophisticated hero looks in the hero, Allu Aruju certainly fits the bill. Glamour of the heroines, action scenes and song sequences are sure to make feast to the eyes.

Performance :

 Iddarammayilatho-review

Allu Arjun looked sophisticated and dignified and played his role well. His dances are good as usual. Catherine Tresa's costumes, looks and graceful movement with liberal skin show in some scenes are sure to allure the youth and make them feel paisa vasool for the money spent. Amala Pal acted well in her role as a Brahmin girl hesitant and traditional. Some love scenes and song sequences of ‘Run Run’, ‘Violin song’ and ‘Top Lechipoddi’ were made in an appealing way.

Brahmanandam as Fiddle Brahma and Ali as Gudivada Krishna in comedy scenes and Shawar Ali as a don and even Subbaraju are not utilized properly by the director. The arrogance usually seen in the heros of Puri Jagannadh movies is missing in this film. Allu Arjun does not show that type of heroism in this movie.

Bramhi dialogue in the movie to tease you in the mean while - Prapancham Lo Prathi Yedava Pawan Kalyan Fan ey ..

Final Word: The movie can be seen and enjoyed if one doesn't go with a lot of expectations like- Bunny’s film under Puri’s direction with Brahmanandam and Ali to fill the comedy parts and a high budget movie that show richness etc.etc. If one watches the movie without comparing with Puri’s or Bunny’s films and simply go with the way it is presented, one is sure to enjoy the movie. But if the imaginations flow due to the image of the stars, star director and star comedians, one may get disappointed.
