Backstabbing, cheating are patented by..........: Kodali Nani
'Back stabbing, cheating are patent rights of the TDP Supremo,' lashed out the suspended TDP MLA Kodali Nani. He added that the TDP Chief was instrumental in 'backstabbing the party founder Late Legend N T Rama Rao.' Further Mr Nani also claimed that 'to put his son in the driving seat, his (Nani) expulsion was instigated.' The mudslinging was on the sidelines of Mr Nani’s visit to the Chenchalguda Prison to meet the arrested Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. While he claims it is purely personal, the TDP Supremo felt it as an act of desertion and suspended Mr Nani.
After the debacle in the byelections, mudslinging has been the watchword for many parties across the state. With YSR Congrees party emerging as the supreme winner, introspection was necessitated by one and all, in the political circles. While some feel that Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy saga is similar to former Jharkhand Chief Minister, others feel that Jagan’s arrest was ill timed. Overall, there has been a political chaos, since some time and more after the byelections. Defections, instability and desertions have been the funda of the leaders.
Senior TDP leader Yerram Naidu countered Mr Nani’s attack by taking a dig at the latter. In his statement he said, had Mr Nani not realized about the 'backstabbing when he had sought the MLA ticket twice from the party and won with the party’s support.’ Now suddenly, `from where did this gyan dawn on him?’
While defections was a common phenomena in the ruling party, off late the Telugu Desam Party has caught up with this much virulent virus. Even senior leaders like Mysoora Reddy have deserted TDP Supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu. While many feel that, the once charismatic leader has lost his magical touch others, say that internal family controversies have ruined the party’s image. However that is not our issue and TDP politburo will perform an internal audit to take stock of the happenings. Well the latest that is been repeatedly played on most media channels is the verbal slinging between the suspended MLA Mr Nani and the few TDP loyalists.
The Nani-TDP saga is taking up centre stage in the political circles, which is not that good for the opposition party, say observers. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
