Amazing Sallu bhai’s, yet to start film, Dabang 2 has got a whooping offer of Rs 50 Cr say industry pundits. And the offer is made by none other than the Star Network!!

Salman Khan, who hogs the limelight since the last three years with his continuous success films, is breaking another record. His next film which is yet to go on floors has fetched him an all time price of a mind blowing, nearly, 50 Cr for the satellite rights.  In fact the movie is to go for shoot next week in Mumbai and plans for Christmas release, globally. Christmas release has been lucky for the Khan, considering his earlier releases that the box office on fire, around the same time.

Industry pundits associated with the deal leak out the secret that the movie’s rights were purchased by Star Network for a little lesser than Rs.50 Cr. Another source reveals that the music rights for the film have been snapped by T-Series for another fancy figure, Rs. 10 Cr. The deal was confirmed by the Star Network, but the price was shied away diplomatically.  If industry statistics are to be considered, then almost a third of the production costs are absorbed by satellite rights. The figure varies with the star and his brand, which also includes his recent success at the box office.
