Govinda was off the sets and off the screens for quite a while now but the 48 year old is keen on breaking the dormancy with his new production house. He is now back with his upcoming movie 'Avatar' with Pahlaj Nihalani and a own production house.

Speaking on his comeback he said, "In the last few years, I have not done many films. There is a trend in Bollywood these days that all top actors are producing films. I was waiting for the right time for launching my production and now the wait has ended. I will start my production house”.

His last production was in 2005 with Ssukh, which failed abysmally at the box office.

Govida was an excellent comedian who was acclaimed for his work in  'Coolie No. 1', 'Hero No. 1' and 'Partner'. The actor is now enthusiastic about his film “Avatar”.

Talking about Pahlani, he said, "We had worked together in many films starting from 'Ilzam' in 1986. Now it's been twenty years since we worked. So I am sure this will bring box office success," probably counting on the 'bees saal baad' prophecies.

However, the actor who was recently made the brand ambassador for  Prayag Mobiles said that he had no intention of directing movies.
