Recently it was reported that Yash Chopra was down with dengue and was admitted to the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai five days ago. The authorities at the hospital said that he was improving and would be discharged very soon.

"He is still in hospital. He is much better now and has improved quite well. He shall be discharged soon," a few sources in the hospital told media.

The 80 year old extremely successful filmmaker was admitted to be under observation on Saturday. Rani Mukherjee paid a visit to the hospital to see Chopra, a source said. The film maker is well known for his hits like Daag, Kabhie Kabhie, Silsila, Chandni and Lamhe, Deewar and Trishul.

Recently he had his hands full with his latest movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring SRK.

JTHJ is set to release on Diwali, Nov 13 as Shah Rukh Khan would star along side Bollywood beauties  Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
