Kolaveri Di has become a sleeper blockbuster by crossing 10 million hits since its release November 16 on YouTube. The song, which is a funny take on heartbreak, is from the Dhanush's upcoming Tamil movie '3' and has become a craze on internet with over 15 million views on YouTube.

Composed by 18-year-old AnirudhRavichander, the song with funny lyrics is sung in an unconventional manner by Dhanush himself and it will be a part of his next film 3, which is being directed by his wife Aishwarya. 'Kolaveri Di' found a fan in Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan,KaranJohar and has failed to impress lyricist JavedAkhtar.

“KOLAVARI-D.Everyone is praising the robes but the emperor is naked. Tune ordinary, singing substandard, words an insult to sensibility,” posted Akhtar on Twitter. The video features Dhanush, the son-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth, singing in a studio with composer AnirudhRavichander, Aishwarya R Dhanush and co-star Shruti Hassan. And this tune and song has been imitated by many others in different languages as well. However, the original Tamil version of the song stands to be a highlight.
