Comedy Kind Naresh is busy with Laddu Babu movie and after heavy discussions, Allari hero has finalized his next project. Reports say that this project would start in the month of April and is expected for release in the second half of this year. Rajul Preet Singh has been roped for the female lead. Veerabharam recently gave disaster in the form of Bhai and has written an out and out comedy entertainer which are his best levels. Eminent Tollywood Lyricist Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao has announced that he will be joining Bharatiya Janata Party today. Participating in a social awareness program in Vijayawada, Jonnavithula said, “I'm attracted towards BJP's ideologies and have decided to join the party today. I'm sure BJP will come into power in the 2014 general elections and will provide a better governance than the Congress party.” In the presence of Vijayawada city BJP leaders, Jonnavithula will take up the flag of BJP. Tollywood music director MM Keeravani has announced that he would be retiring from films. This decision of Keeravani has shocked the Telugu Film Industry as he posted the retirement news in his Facebook page. “I recorded my 1st song on 9th December 1989 at Prasad Studios Chennai. The very day i fixed my retirement day to be 8th December 2016 which i am planning to celebrate the day with my close associates and musicians.. most likely at Prasad Studio, Hyderabad. So it is hardly 3 more years to go. Meanwhile i am happy to start this new journey on FB from tomorrow, details will be updated in the evening. In what has shocked everyone, ANR has called for a press meet today to make a sad announcement. He revealed that he is suffering from cancer in the stomach. When he suddenly reached out to the press last night, it was speculated that it may have something to do with Manam film. But, reality turned out to be something deeper. ANR has earned a lot of respect for being an upfront and candid person, both personally and professionally. In a similar vein, he wanted to share true facts about his condition before everyone jumps to conclusion about his health. ANR sounded wise when he tried to reduce the big impact of the news by saying he lived a full life without any regrets. Having recently celebrated his 90th birthday amid great fanfare, no one would have imagined the veteran actor to be in such physical pain. ANR expressed that he had been experiencing severe stomach pain. A recent medical check up brought out the actual reason for the pain as cancer. In recent days, ANR's son Nagarjuna was seen at public appearances looking drawn and tired. It was imagined that he was simply upset that his Bhai film did not get the big function that fans wanted. Though he was a little disappointed with that, it was hard to guess the turmoil in his heart. ANR and Nagarjuna are currently shooting for Manam, the exciting multistarrer under their Annapurna Studios banner. Work on Manam is expected to complete this December. Collections for the film is still going strong, feeding speculations that it may reach Magadheera's record as the highest grosser in Tollywood. Despite piracy, Attarintiki Daredi worked, prompting Pawan Kalyan to quip that he will not forget those responsible for the leak even though the film is a huge hit. He suggested that it is a conspiracy by film industry insiders and not just piracy, generating controversy. He will punish the culprits, he said, while urging his followers to live for the greater good of society in the name of Pawanism.
