Analysis :

RHorror Story-review

Notwithstanding of perceiving unpleasantness out of the honor genre flicks in of late occurrence years, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt at the present time continued experimenting with his dramas.

In fact, his love to haunt the horror lovers hasn’t weakened and once again he gave another attempt for them through ‘Horror Story’. The motion picture stars accompanying seven college friends Achint (Nishant Malkani), Maghesh (Ravish Desai), Samrat (Hasan Zaidi), Maggie (Aparna Bajpai), Neena (Radhika Menon) and Sonia (Nandini Vaid) who in order to bid farewell to Neel (Karan Kundra) enter hotel Grandiouse, which is sealed for years knowing the fact that its haunted. Things turn demoniac when one of their friends gets killed and all others get trapped in the dark world. Now, why does it tease us to put our hands under those things which before hand cautioned us of the circumstances? The narration of the motion picture has the same drowsy plot, which notwithstanding of being experimented plenty of times in Indian Cinema is once again picturised. We don’t express dissatisfaction for that yet what we do complain for is the thrilling events which this motion picture doesn’t exploit over. Even though there was every attempt to create an atmosphere carrying the deadly smell in it yet that doesn’t really advance you with an inch of frightfully shocking feel. Furthermore, the relatively low suspense such as unexpectedly keeping hands on one’s shoulder even doors fluttering unnecessarily, wheel chairs moving not accompanied by anyone’s support and top of the list being the devil’s unaccustomed funny face which would ensure with a headache. The music is the biggest teaser in these horror flicks. Generally we have seen music being given the most crucial place by the filmmakers in ‘Horror Story’ though become weak at least in Indian horror films.

Now, Vikram Bhatt’s earlier horror motion pictures like 1920, Haunted as well as 1920 Evil Returns were complete disasters yet Horror Story looks comparatively promising. As of now all we can do is await for the film to release and see how the audience reacts to this one!

Performance :

Now, coming to the acting department television actor Karan Kundra who is making his Bollywood debut seems to be better than all the others actors in the motion picture. The film also stars fresh faces like Nishant Malkani, Ravish Desai, Hasan Zaidi, Nandini Vaid who are known to have equal goodness yet none of them do extremely well.

Final Word:Even though we are calling it spine-chilling it only gets justified when it comes to the young audience otherwise it can be a good entertainment package for others. Since we are already aware of the earlier horror flicks made in India accompanied by lots of makeup that's clearly visible in the form of mask, skin tone, or bright evil colors making it more laughable than frightening, therefore it won't be that impossible to digest this flick. Now, it's up to the audience to decide upon it. I would rate Horror Story with
