Akhil’s Heroine Locked?:- Akkineni’s young and handsome lad Akhil has been badly disappointed with his debut film Akhil. Directed by VV Vinayak, the movie ended up as one of the biggest debacles in Tollywood. This shattered Akhil completely and the actor was not in a mood to hurry. The actor rejected several scripts and he waited for the right script for his second film. King Nagarjuna took personal care on the film and it was Vikram Kumar who has been finalized to direct Akhil’s second movie.

Vikram Kumar earlier directed Akkineni’s multistarrer Manam and Akhil has been extremely impressed with the script after which he signed the film. The untitled movie started rolling couple of months ago and some crucial episodes are being shot in the two schedules that have been wrapped up recently. However the biggest surprise comes here as the makers wrapped up two schedules without the female lead. There have been lot of rumours about the heroine however none of them have been locked.

Some Bollywood actresses like Alia Bhatt have been considered but the makers finally opted out for a fresh face for this untitled project. The latest update is that veteran director Priyadarshan’s daughter Kalyani is one among the aspirants of the heroine in the movie. Vikram already met Kalyani and discussed about the script however he is yet to get a positive nod from her. She worked as an assistant director for Vikram’s last movie Inkokkadu and is occupied with films.

Akhil recently shot an action episode which costed a bomb for the makers. A source from the movie unit informed that the female lead will be finalized this week after which the next schedule will commence. Anup Rubens is the music composer and Annapurna Studios is producing the movie. Ekkada Ekkada undo Taraka is the title considered for the film informed sources.
