Veteran South Actress Finally Decided To Marry?:- According to the latest buzz in film circles, classical dancer and veteran actress and the Padma Shri awardee Shobana is the focal point currently in Malayalam cinema and classical dance circles.
It is reported that the actress is finally getting ready to enter wedlock and as per speculated reports, Shobhana will marry a family friend, whom she has known for a long time now and has been a close associate to her family. Even though there is no official confirmation about her marriage either from her or her family, the actress has not squashed the reports either.
The 47-year old actress having dedicated her life to dance, has been running a dance school in Chennai. She has been actively taking part in several stage shows and dance festivals all over the world. The danseuse-turned-actress all these years has remained single and continued her love affair with classical dance.
In the year 2001, she had adopted a girl child and had named her Anantha Narayani. Shobana was last seen in the 2013 Malayalam film Thira and since then has not appeared in films. The actress appeared in more than 200 films in all the four South Indian languages.
In the year 2006, Shobana was awarded the Padma Shri for her contribution to the art-form of dance. Shobana is the niece of popular Travancore sisters Padmini and Ragini. In this art-form, most of the members from the actress family have contributed vastly to dance.
