Tabu To Play Mother To Nag’s Son Akhil In Next Film?

Tabu To Play Mother To Nag’s Son Akhil In Next Film?:- Nagarjuna who is elated with the success of his elder son Naga Chaitanya’s recent release “'Ra Randoi Veduka Chooddam” is leaving no stone unturned to establish his younger son, Akhil as a hero.

It is heard that Nag had reportedly convinced his good friend and actress Tabu to play a crucial role in Akhil’s second film. However, Tabu has not yet started enacting mother characters in south films, but she could not say no when Nag himself asked her.

The actress, now is all set to play a mother to his son Akhil Akkineni in a Telugu film, produced by Nagarjuna. About a month ago, the actress had been approached for the role apparently, and she liked it so much, that she agreed to do it immediately.

Back in the 90s, the grapevine was abuzz with rumors of Tabu and South star Nagarjuna romantically linked.

Recent reports even suggest that they are still in touch. The veteran star, in an interview earlier this year had said Tabu is and will always remain a close friend. “Our friendship goes way back, since I was 21 or 22 and she was just 16. That is like almost half a lifetime. About our friendship, whatever is said is less. I have nothing to hide about her. When you mention her name, my face lights up. She is a beautiful person, and a beautiful friend. She always will be,” he was quoted as saying.

Although the Ninne Pelladatha fame actors never admitted to their relationship, they apparently parted ways as the southern star could not commit to the relationship. But seems the friendship is still intact.

Tabu has proved to be a lady luck for Nag after pairing opposite him in hit films - Nine Pelladatha, Aavida Maa Aavide and Sisindri. Nag hopes that she will cast similar luck on Akhil as well.

Other cast members will be locked by this weekend. One can expect an official announcement within a fortnight. The shooting of the film is expected to start in Hyderabad sometime next month.
