Fans looking forward to Tamil Superstar, Rajnikanth’s magnum opus with Bollywood Actor, Akshay Kumar are in for a double treat.

The grapevine is abuzz, that the Superstar will be seen portraying five different roles, in his upcoming science fiction visual spectacle “2.0”

The film, 2.0 is a sequel to Enthiran (Robo in Telugu and Robot in Hindi).

According to reports, besides doing two central and permanent characters of the franchise, the Scientist Dr. Vaseekaran, and Chitti (the Robot), the actor will essay a Villain role and two dwarf characters.

If the rumors are true, this will be the first time Rajinikanth will be playing a dwarf’s role on screen.

On the other hand, Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar, will play the villain role. The actor, will reportedly be seen 12 distinct avatars, including that of a villainous crow.

This was already revealed by the makers of the film.

According to rumors, Akshay will be having a more important role than Rajni, as a prime antagonist, in this visual epic.

Directed by Shankar, Amy Jackson also is playing as a robot in the movie. The film also stars Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles.

Made on the lavish budget, of about Rs 400 crores, the film makers have planned to release the film on Diwali, 2017.

Magical Maestro, A.R. Rahman, is the music composer of the film.

The satellite rights of the film, recently, have bagged for a whopping price of Rs 110 crores.  

Watching the Tamil Super star in one character itself gives goose bumps to his fans. Imagine the euphoria, this film can create!

Economically, the year 2017, is going to be a landmark year for Indian cinema, as we have two mega-budgeted projects like Shankar's 2.0 and SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion slated to release.
