After the censor board has awarded clean ‘U’ certificate, Brahmotsavam film makers, along with Mahesh Babu fans, are on cloud nine, celebrating the moment.

‘U’ certificate to a film implies that, the film is away from violence, adult scenes and other type of disturbing stuff and perfectly suits the family audience. Just like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, even Brahmotsavam is touted to be a family entertainer in the beginning and the same is proven, after watching the trailer. Now the censor board too confirmed the same giving it a ‘U’.

But this ‘U’, in not just exciting, but also worrying the fans. ‘U’ rated films generally sound low for the ‘C’ centre audience, for whom the movie is something that have all the commercial elements like mass songs, horrifying fights, punch dialogues and all.

Due to the non-existence of such elements, even a good film like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, though secured a success, could not witness its voice in terms of the collections.

However an extra show at 8.10am on the first day, in dual Telugu states is granted for Brahmotsavam. Adding to it, there is no other big release near by. So the film is expected to do big this time making good collections.

After Baahubali, Sardaar Gabbar Singh with 28.34 crores stood in the second place, regarding the first day records. It should be seen, whether Mahesh makes any impact in occupying the better position than two films.
