With the disappointment, Sardaar Gabbar Singh gave, it seems, Power Star is on a spree of moving forward with the back to back films.

While a movie with SJ Surya, is already at the pre-production stage, Pawan Kalyan has now nodded to another film, which is the remake of Ajith’s super hit  ‘Vedalam’.

Sardaar star felt that, the revenge drama would suit to his image, and so is willing to do it. However, this project is at the loopline since long, but it is almost official now.

Pawan felt, Tamil director RT Neason, who handled super hit film ‘Jilla’, would be able to do the justice to the project, and so, reportedly offered him the direction responsibilities.

The young director is currently modifying the script to make it suit to the Telugu nativity and also to the image of Pawan Kalyan here.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Pawan has been contemplating to star in the Telugu remake of ‘Vedalam’ for quite some time. He felt the storyline of the revenge drama would go down well with his image and his scores of fans and believed in Neason’s skills to do justice to the script. The director is presently tailoring the script to suit Telugu sensibilities.”

After Bangaram in 2006, star producer AM Ratnam, would be producing this movie, who even produced the original-Vedalam.

Pawan Kalyan is currently in the summer vacation. SJ Surya’s movie would start in July, after the actor comes back from the tour. If everything goes well, the Gabbar Singh star would probably participate in both the shoots, at a time.
