Basha, one of the remarkable films to Rajini, his fans and in fact to the Indian cinema. It is now heard that he is planning for a sequel to the film.

Previously, there are many gossips that rounded the film industry regarding this project, but none were proved to be true. In fact, it was heard that, Rajini opined that a remake to such a big hit film is very risky and so dropped the project.

But it seems to be like Rajini is essaying a similar role in P.A. Ranjith's film. According to the sources, Rajini is playing a role of an underworld don in the film. If that is true , then there is an every chance of this role to be identified with Rajini's Basha.

So, it is obviously a big challenge to Ranjith to direct Rajini in this role. Hope he do not drop the confidence of Rajini and thus gain the hearts of millions of Rajini fans with this remarkable Rajini's character in the film.
