NTR - Kathanayakudu Closing Numbers:- Nandamuri Balakrishna is essaying the role of his father NTR in his prestigious biopic which is made in two installments NTR - Kathanayakudu and NTR - Mahanayakudu. The film is directed by Krish and the first part NTR - Kathanayakudu released on January 9th across the globe. Balakrishna, Vidya Balan, Kalyanram, Sumanth and Rana Daggubati played the lead roles. NTR - Kathanayakudu received decent response but the collections have been poor.

NTR - Kathanayakudu raked Rs 20.62 crores in its final run all over. The theatrical rights of the film have been sold for Rs 71 crores and the film's loss is said to be Rs 50 crores. Balakrishna decided to offer the second installment NTR - Mahanayakudu for free. Vidya Balan is the heroine and Rana Daggubati, Kalyanram Nandamuri, Sumanth played other crucial roles.
