Veteran Director Mani Ratnam Hospitalized:- Top Indian director and producer Mani Ratnam who has directed several classics of Indian cinema has been unwell from some time. The veteran director today complained of chest pain and he has been rushed to a private hospital in Chennai. Several tests are being conducted by a team of doctors and an update on his health is expected soon. His wife Suhasini is beside the ace director who suffered minor heart attacks earlier.

Mani Ratnam is currently shooting for his next action thriller titled Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film features Aravind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Jyothika and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The movie has been slated for release next year. Made on a massive budget, Madras Talkies along with Lyca Productions are bankrolling this prestigious project. Wishing Mani Ratnam a speedy recovery.
