No Takers For Rajinikanth's Kaala:- Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of 2.0 and Kaala long ago. With 2.0 release pushed, Rajinikanth wanted Kaala to release at the earliest. Kaala has been slated for June 7th release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. PA Ranjith directed the movie and Rajinikanth plays a gangster in the film. The makers have been quoting massive prices for the theatrical rights for the Telugu version.

Several top producers approached the makers but because of the huge quote all of them backed out. Now Kaala Telugu version has been left unsold and Lyca Productions is in plans to release the film on their own. Dhanush's Wunderbar Films produced Kaala and Lyca Productions acquired the theatrical rights of the film. Nana Patekar and Samuthirakani played other pivotal roles in this gangster drama which has been carrying huge expectations. Kaala music album will be out tomorrow in all the languages.
