Sukumar is the director of this village based romantic entertainer and Samantha is the female lead. Rangasthalam 1985 has been made on a massive budget and is said to have huge dose of action, romance, emotions and entertainment throughout. With the release date nearing, the makers are busy wrapping up the post-production work of Rangasthalam 1985.

The total runtime of the film has been locked to be 2 hours and 45 minutes which is huge considering the today’s situations. The makers have been pressurizing Sukumar to cut down the run time by 20 minutes but the ace director is not happy with the decision of the makers. The final call would be taken in a couple of days and the movie will be applied for censor scrutiny at the earliest. Devi Sri Prasad composed the tunes and a massive pre-release event has been planned on Ugadi on March 18th in Vizag.
