Akhil's Heroine Confirmed:- Akkineni actor Akhil Akkineni has been completely focussed on films. The actor struggled hard as his debut movie Akhil ended up as a massive debacle after it has been made on a massive budget. VV Vinayak directed the movie and Nithiin produced it. Now Nagarjuna is said to be completely focussed on the actor's career. After over a year, the script of his second project has been locked. Super talented director Vikram Kumar has been roped in to direct Akhil and he earlier worked with Nagarjuna for Manam. Akhil too has been quite excited about the film and he revealed that he will be back with a bang.

The shoot of the film started couple of months ago and two major schedules of the film have been wrapped up. There have been lot of rumours about the film's female lead and Bollywood actresses like Alia Bhatt have been considered for the role. There have been talks that Sayyesha who made her debut with Akhil will romance Akhil again in the film however the makers stayed calm without responding much. Vikram Kumar and his team have been in hunt for the female lead from sometime and they are quite keen on roping fresh face for the interesting role in this untitled project.

Now the latest update says that Kalyani Priyadarshan has been finalized to play the female lead in the movie. Kalyani is the daughter of veteran director Priyadarshan and she has been associated with films from sometime. She started her career as an assistant director for Vikram's Inkokkadu and she is making her debut as female lead. Kalyani will join the shoot from the next schedule which will start from next week. Nagarjuna is taking special care on the movie and is being bankrolled on his home banner Annapurna Studios. Anup Rubens is composing the music and some Hollywood stunt masters have been roped in for the action episodes. Akhil is pretty confident on this untitled film.
