Vijay Strikes a Stunning Satellite Deal:- Ilayathalapathy Vijay is sure one among the leading actors in Tamil cinema. He scored many unusual hits in the recent times and he is busy wrapping up his next movie titled Mersal which is directed by Atlee. The movie has been carrying massive expectations and Samantha, Kajal are playing the female leads. The recently released first look has been a smashing hit and the makers now signed a stunning satellite deal for the movie.

The satellite rights of all the versions of Mersal have been acquired for Rs 30 crores by popular television network Zee. The actor will be seen in a triple role and is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films. Popular producer Sharat Marar acquired the Telugu rights for Mersal which has been slated for October release. AR Rahman is composing the music. Mersal is the second time Vijay and Atlee are teaming up and their last outing Theri has been a massive hit. Vijay's tripe role will be a treat revealed Atlee.

Mersal is one of the most awaited films that will hit the screens this year. With Rajinikanth's 2.0 walking out of Diwali race, Mersal has been aimed for Diwali release. The makers are aiming a huge release in Telugu as well and Vijay is keen on making an impact which he failed to make to do with his past outings. There are talks that the film will have a plot that will discuss about Jallikattu issue. Vijay's first look too hinted about it. Mersal is the 100th film for Sri Thenandal Films and they took things prestigiously.

The makers are in plans for a grand audio launch in August and the movie has been aimed for October release. A massive audio event will take place for the Telugu version too in Hyderabad. Vijay will extensively promote the film for the Telugu version soon informed the makers.
