Saala Khadoos Director Sudha K Prasad To Direct Suriya?:- Sudha Kongara Prasad made some waves in Tamil cinema with her directorial debut Irudhi Suttru in Tamil and Saala Khadoos in Hindi. The film was later remade in Telugu with Venkatesh Daggubati reprising the role of Madhavan. The director won accolades and received wide appreciation for Irudhi Suttru.

Even though the film did not do well in Hindi, it was a great comeback for Madhavan in Tamil cinema after Irudhi Suttru became a successful film. Having worked with Mani Ratnam for a while, Sudha Kongara had a dream debut with this film.

Now, going by the recent developments, things seem to getting only better from now for the director. Apparently, news has it that top star of Tamil cinema Suriya, will be acting in a film directed by Sudha. Recent reports suggest that Sudha narrated an outline of her story few months ago which Suriya liked, and now the director is ready with the full script.

The industry grapevine is that the film will be most likely produced by Suriya himself under his own production 2D Entertainment. Suriya is currently working on his upcoming film Thaana Serntha Kootam which is being directed by Vignesh Sivan. The film is said to be a remake of Akshay Kumar starrer “Special 26”.

Suriya has another film scheduled with renowned filmmaker Selvaraghavan which is in the pipeline and as per recent reports, the film is said to have been pushed further ahead to complete Sudha Kongara’s film first.
