Megastar Chiranjeevi Unhappy With Ramcharan’s Film Title?

Megastar Chiranjeevi Unhappy With Ramcharan’s Film Title?:- As we all know, Mega Power Star Ram Charan has been grabbing a lot of attention of late because of his upcoming film with director Sukumar.

The title of Ram Charan and director Sukumar’s upcoming film was recently announced as “Rangasthalam”, after the actor told his fans to put pressure on the director for the title. The film makers even revealed its first look poster.

Needless to say, this created quite a buzz in the industry and sent the young star’s fans into a state of craze. Now, it seems that not everyone is happy with the tile and in fact, a bit angry about it. According to reports, Charan’s father and Megastar Chiranjeevi is of the opinion that the title “Rangasthalam” lacks a mass connect. He feels that a typical title like ‘Palleturi Monagadu’ would have been better as it is set in a village.

“Chiranjeevi wants a typical Telugu title like Palleturi Monagadu or something similar, as the film is set in a village. Chiru did not like the present title Rangasthalam and asked how many people can understand the same,” a source told adding that he immediately expressed displeasure to his son and the filmmakers. There is a high chance that the title may change later, adds the source.

It seems the Megastar was unaware of the title as he returned to Hyderabad only recently after spending a few days in China with his former colleagues.

In case you did not know, “Rangasthalam” is touted to be an action-thriller and will see Charan essay the role of a villager. The film was launched in February by Chiranjeevi himself and went on the floors this April. Besides Charan, it features Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead. The supporting cast includes Aadhi Pinsetty and Jagapati Bau. The movie is all set to release for Sankranthi next year.

This will be Charan’s first release of the year. He was last seen in ‘Dhruva’ which was a remake of ‘Thani Oruvan. Besides him, it starred Arvind Swamy and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead.
