Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa Teaser To Be Released Soon:- Tollywood Director Sekhar Kammula is currently working on his upcoming film, which is titled “Fidaa”.
This upcoming flick is one of the most-anticipated Telugu releases of this year. The 45-year old filmmaker is awaiting a release after three years. Sekhar Kammula is best known for his films such as Happy Days and Godavari. His last flick was Nayanthara starrer Anamika, which bombed at the box office.
Kammula’s Fidaa movie features Mega Prince Varun Tej as the male lead and Premam fame actress Sai Pallavi in the female lead. The upcoming flick is being produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Fidaa will mark the debut of Sai Pallavi in Telugu cinema.
Touted to be a romantic saga, Fidaa will narrate the story of how a small-town girl from Telangana falls in love with an NRI, and how their relationship shapes up from there. The film makers have made an official announcement that the teaser of Fidaa will be released on June 17, while its release is scheduled this August.
The motion poster and the first look of the film were very well received by the audience and it was quite evident that the film will be a heartwarming love story.
Fidaa will be an important film in the career of Varun Tej since he did not have a great run so far in his career. With his last flick, Mister, directed by Srinu Vaitla bombing at the box office, Varun would be banking on Fidaa heavily to get into the success track.
On the other hand, the female lead, Sai Pallavi, who is quite famous for her role as Malar in Malayalam blockbuster hit Premam, is already in high demand in all the South Indian film industries, especially in Telugu. Besides Fidaa, the actress has also signed her second Telugu film, which will star Natural Star Nani in the lead role. The film is titled “MCA”, which will be coincidentally produced by Dil Raju again.
At a critical point where an actor is looking for success in his career, and an actress who is already a sensation and is making her debut in Telugu, Fidaa will be the most watched out for film in the upcoming season.
