National Media Insults Baahubali 2; Claims As Tamil Film

Ace director, SS Rajamouli’s film : Baahubali 2 is gaining all the momentum and every Telugu person is so proud of this movie these days. The film is getting huge applaud the international wide and even national media is so happy with the great epic drama.

But the shocking thing that came out, was during “Baahubali 2” debate program on a big National News television. A sub-text (“Original in Tamil, Dubbed in Hindi, Telegu & Kannada as well”) given for debate on “Baahubali: The Conclusion/ Baahubali 2” on a National Channel is really disheartening to watch. Even “Telugu” was presented as “Telegu” in the sub-text.

The National news television CNN NEWS 18 put the blood of Telugu people boiling as the sub editors in the news room did not know the spellings of a top language in India. There are few other blunders as well. Actually, “Baahubali” was not dubbed in Kannada at all. The Epic was dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam only. It is sad that they influence in a wrong way like this and to know that these channels claim their position as top influencing media in the country.

The National journalists are lacking discipline and considering the false statements as truth. Media should learn the facts before they post out such issues, about such a big budgeted flick that is being considered as Pride and Honor of Indian Cinema.

While many of the foreigners assume Indian Cinema is nothing other than Bollywood, the majority of the North Indians have been still of the opinion that South Indian Cinema means Tamil alone. So, any project which garner the attention of the country will be most likely projected as a Tamil movie. This happened in the case of “Baahubali” as well. It is high time that National Media recognizes Rajamouli and Baahubali solely belong to Telugu native. It literally seems that the National Media and the Delhi thrones are in a hurry to claim Baahubali as Pride of Indian Cinema, as they do not want to leave any opportunity to grab some fame through this movie.
