Shriya Sharma did many films as a child artiste with Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, Chiranjeevi, Rajanikanth and Mahesh Babu. Now, she has become a lead actress in the upcoming film, Nirmala Convent.

“I was in Hyderabad when I got a call from the production house.  I immediately accepted the offer because I always wanted to do a teenage love story  like the film Bobby and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” says Shriya.

She adds that this film is a big project as Nagarjuna is acting in and producing it. “I am a bit nervous, but mostly excited. I don’t have any scenes with Nagarjuna Sir in the film, but I did a promotional song with him. As a child artiste, I got to act with many big actors and it’s always a great learning experience for me when I act with those legends. Now, as a lead actress, many will look at me and my performance,” she says. The actress adds that she is waiting for the release of this film and will announce her next project soon.
