Yes, the magnum opus Baahubali 2 release date has been declared to be on April 14th.  

One big advantage with the Bollywood films is, the release date would be announced on the shooting commencement day itself and makes sure, the movie gets completed by then.

But the thing is completely different in Telugu. None of the makers, dare to announce the release date on the beforehand.
 
With the intention of raising the curiosity among the audience, the Tollywood makers test the patience, teasing with the press meets and other dramas.  

But such tricks will not be encouraged by the Bollywood makers. They are very strict about the release dates, as the movie is linked with some hundreds of crores, and moreover, knowing the release date on the beforehand will support them in doing enough publicity for the film.

It is because of that, Rajamouli had to reveal the release date of Baahubali- The Conclusion in Bollywood. Karan Johar, who earlier released Baahubali first part in Bollywood, would do the same for the second one too, under his banner Dharma Productions.

Baahubali is the first film, which collected over Rs.100 crores and also crossed other Bollywood blockbusters collections. That made the Bollywood makers eye on the second part especially, expecting it to be a bigger one than the first part.

Whatever it is, because of the Bollywood tradition of announcing release dates before, Tollywood audience are treating it as fortunate one, to know the release date of such huge epic like Baahubali, in very advance.
