After a national media house published a news saying, Poonam Pandey underwent an abortion at a Mumbai hospital, the actress, who could not take this, filed the defamation suit against the media house.

Poonam Pandey, who got to the fame, through her raunchy videos and spicy photo shoots, warned the media house of a legal suit in the beginning. But, in her latest interview, she claimed that she has even filed a Rs. 100 crores defamation suit.

As a part of the interview, Poonam said, “I have filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against the media house so that they think 100 times before writing anything like this against any celebrity. One more reason to file the case is that I am deeply hurt by such a baseless story.”

Even in the earlier, Poonam faced several controversies, countering them back bravely. But this time, as the issue hurted her and the people around deeply, she moved forward, filing a suit.

“Nothing in the past have made me feel so bad. I am angry that how can someone use words like pregnancy and abortion about any woman without having any evidence about it,” Poonam said.

“My parents have never asked me anything or questioned me about my pictures or videos. This time, they too asked me about this abortion report," Poonam added.
