After stupendous success of Rudramadevi, Anushka signed another historical epic movie called Bhaagamathi.
 
Even top director like Rajamouli, applauded Anushka, saying that, she is a boon to the Telugu film industry. Her physique and charisma perfectly matches to the heroic female oriented films. She is the one, who proved that lady oriented films are nothing less than the star hero films.

Right from Arundhathi, Anushka has concentrated on several female oriented films and got critics appreciation. Rudramadevi, which is released amidst of good expectations among the audience, has received a good success.

Even after the three weeks of release, the movie is still doing well at the box office. At this time, makers are approaching her with another historical subject called Bhaagamathi.

Rudramadevi is related to Telangana and now Bhaagamathi is again a Telangana one, that too Hyderabad related subject. Prabhas friends Pramod and Vamsi are producing the films under UV Creations banner and Ashok will be the director.

Though Anushka doubted on Ashok directional skills, after Prabhas assurance, she accepted the role. As it is again a pure Telangana subject, there is every chance of getting the tax exemptions for the film.

Meanwhile, Anushka's Size Zero is getting ready for release on November 27th. After that release, Bhagamathi will go on to the sets.
