When Mahesh's 1, Nenokkadine posters were first released, it was Samantha who criticized those posters. From there, Mahesh fans warned Samantha many times and Mahesh just said it was her opinion, and that need not worry any fans.

But Mahesh fans are nowhere in a mood to be as silent as Mahesh on this issue. A cold war is still going on among Mahesh fans regarding Samantha. The latest update is that, the Brahmothsavam team approached Samantha for female lead in the movie. Immediately after knowing the issue, Mahesh fans started contacting him through twitter and saying, not to act with Samantha.

But Mahesh anyway is still silent on the issue as according to him, the decision of the cast and crew is completely left to the producer and director. He never involved in any such issues of selecting the cast and crew or at least recommending any actor in his films.

But now the issue is with the fans where his involvement is necessary this time. Will Mahesh obey fans  and loose a good friend or will he keep up his friendship and leave fans ? Ball is in his court now.
