Actress Swathi aka Colors Swathi might feature in second part of the 2014 'Geethanjali' which was a run away hit. The first part had actress Anjali, who did a decent job and very recently the makers have announced that they are planning for a sequel to the film. Seems like the makers have zeroed upon Swathi for the lead role.

Swathi is being very selective these days and is coming up with films that are completely unique in terms of script. Though she came up with only one film in 2014, i.e, 'Karthikeya,' it met with good reviews and is one of the biggest hits of 2014 too. According to the sources, Swathi is yet to be approached for the sequel of 'Geethanjali' and is expected shortly.

However, writer Kona Venkat who provided script for 'Geethanjali,' it will be a whole new plot.
