Superstar Rajinikanth properties will be auctioned by a private bank which released on official statement this afternoon. According to the reports, Rajinikanth's wife Latha failed to pay Rs 22 crores to Mumbai based Exim Bank who drew for the production of a film. Repeated attempts were made to repay the amount but Latha Rajinikanth failed to do so. After waiting for a considerable time, the bank released a statements, confirming the auction of Rajini's assets.
Two acres in Kanchipuram is in the list of properties that could be kept for auction. The advertisement of the auction was published in Chennai's edition of Times of India newspaper. The sources say that Rajini had no clue about the auction of properties, till the advertisement reached his ears. The negotiations are heard to have begun by now, but Rajini's close sources remained silent.
