Mega Powerstar Ram Charan Tej is soon stepping into airlines business which is named 'Turbo Megha.'  Recently the Civil Aviation Ministry has issued No Objection Certificates [NOCs] to six entities whose applications to start airlines in India were pending for long. Among the six entities, Turbo Megha was one of them.

Ram Charan's friend Vankayalapati Umesh is the co-partner in this airlines business. This is a brave move by Ram Charan as the airlines industry in the country is in crisis. However with the arrival of low-cost Air Asia into the Indian market, the industry is looking to get back its lost glory.

Coming to Charan's Turbo Megha, it will operate regional flights from Hyderabad and will also provide chartered flight services. Ram Charan is one of the directors of MAA TV and also owns a Polo team and the latest is an addition to his cap.
