Malayalam Drushyam which was remade in Kannada and Telugu, scored decent hits at box office. Now this film is all set to get started in Tamil too. Universal Hero Kamal Haasan will be seen in the Tamil version and movie had its formal launch yesterday.

Apparently the project should have started long back, but Kamal was hectic with Viswaroopam 2 and Uttama Villain. Now both the films reached finals stages and Drushyam remake was launched. Kamal's partner Gautami is expected to reprise the role of Meena in this remake while Drushyam Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph will helm the project.

Gibran will score music for this film and is expected to hit theatres in January 2015.
