Young Rebel star Prabhas underwent shoulder surgery that too a month back to avoid unnecessary speculations and was revealed on Sunday through his official Facebook page. Prabhas attended his cousin's wedding recently and was spotted with a sling. The rumors in the tinsel town spread quickly which forced Prabhas to make a statement.

Through his Facebook page Prabhas said, “Hi friends, I underwent a shoulder surgery a month ago. This surgery was supposed to be done a long time ago, but I kept delaying it. The surgery was successfully completed and I am perfectly alright now. I will be back in action within a month. Do not worry about my health.”

Meanwhile Baahubali director SS Rajamouli responded on the rumors that Prabhas was injured during the shooting of this project. “Prabhas underwent a minor shoulder surgery a month ago.V successfully managed2keep it a secret(to avoid unnecessary speculation) til now but this marriage couldn't be avoided.. The surgery was long due and we planned it in the summer so the unit too can escape the summer heat..He is absolutely fine now and will be back in action in a month..Oops.. He attended his cousin's marriage.. Where he was clicked with his sling... Sorry for the confusion caused...,” tweeted Rajamouli.
