The distributors and the exhibitors have come to an understanding to make this shocking announcement.  It gave good results.  The theaters are full now.

The decision to reduce the rate of the ticket to Rs.10/- has multiple advantages as thought by them and witnessed practically. One thing is that the movie will run for some more days.  Secondly the collections will be better than at normal rates. The theaters that collected Rs.4000 at normal rates are collecting Rs.12000/- now at the reduced rate common for all classes.

As the rate of the ticket is Rs.10/- and one can sit anywhere in the theater naturally everyone wants to have a more comfortable seat and it makes them rushing to the theaters before time which ensures the collections by the theater owners.

The sale proceeds of snacks and cool drinks and collection by way of parking charges have gone up and got them additional revenue. All put together the reduced rate mantra helped the distributors and the theater owners to reduce their loss to some extent.

But the producers were flabbergasted to hear the news for the business technique followed by the exhibitors.
