Akkineni Nageswara Rao's 90th birthday was celebrated on Monday night with pomp in a five star hotel at Chennai in the company of cinema celebrities.   The celebration conducted by the South India Film Chamber of Commerce was attended by Tamil and Malyalam actors also along with Telugu actors.  

Akkineni family members, Kamala Hasan, D.Rama Naidu, Gollapudi Maruti Rao, Paruchuri Brothers, Vanishri, Krishnam Raju, Venkatesh, Rajendra Prasad, Murali Mohan, Rajasekhar, Srikanth, Rana and some cine producers participated  in the event.

After Akkineni cut the cake to mark the celebrations,  Sivamani attracted the participants with his drums show.
