Is Teja insulting filmmakers or audiences?

Director Teja has a major attitude problem. He seems to have a judgmental opinion about Telugu film industry in general and top actors in particular. Now, since films give what the audiences want to see for the most part, is he insulting the Telugu movie goers also?

We don't know what exactly is bothering him, but according to his statements, Telugu films are not being made the right way. Also, top actors have a narrow approach towards film making, he says. This, from the director who gave a movie as depressing as Nijam.

So, director Teja does not like how things are being handled and obviously he had this outlook for a long time coming. Taking a dig at the ever popular Mahesh no less, he claims that neither he wants to work with top actors nor top actors would want to work with him. He got at least one thing right!

'Fixed format' movies, like Teja says, have fight sequences, romantic songs and larger than life heroes. Teja is probably forgetting that they also have comedy and entertainment. He should take advice from another top star Nagarjuna, who rightly said that audiences can digest a message in a movie if it is intelligently woven in with entertainment.

Teja's next film, 1000 abaddalu is set for release on 15th August. The movie has 'thoughtful entertainment' apparently.
