After a long time, audiences will be able to catch Gopichand in an adventure thriller, like what Mahesh Babu has done in Takkari Donga. With better technology and a bigger budget, Gopichand may just be one up on Mahesh Babu tomorrow when Sahasam releases.
Directed by Chadrasekhar Yeleti, Sahasam will also showcase beautiful special effects. The film was delayed by more 6 months due to the extra attention given for bringing out these action scenes.
In Gopichand's words, the movie is very much a commercial entertainer. However, it will just have two situationally placed songs. All this points towards a faced paced thriller.
Takkari Donga was a very entertaining film when it released, with all the adventure keeping fans at the edge of their seats. Later Magadheera showed Charan riding a horse with style and confidence. Now Gopichand had to learn horse riding for a few days to shoot certain action scenes. Sahasam has enough ingredients to increase Gopichand's fan base soon.
