Court Warrant To Mallika Sherawat

The Vadodara District Court issued bailable warrant to Mallika Sherawat for her dance in a New Year's Dance party at Mumbai on the eve of 2006 in which she showed off obscenity.  The court directed her to appear before it on August 19th.

The case was filed by the former President of Baroda Bar Association Narendra Tiwari after watching Mallika Sherawat’s obscenity on TV. He made the Hotel Management also respondents along with Mallika Sherawat.

Mallika in fact was asked to attend the court on 6th July but she did not obey it because of which, Narendra Tiwari requested the Court to issue a non-bailable warrant to her.  But the Court issued a bailable warrant after considering her application the as per which she has to attend on 19th August in person.

Previously she moved Gujarat High Court to squash the summons but the High Court rejecting the plea directed her to contact the District Court.

Tiwari says that he has all the faith in the justice in India and now Mallika has to attend the Court and no one even God cannot stop it.
