Small budget films are faring well as per the trend at present. But the producers and directors of those films want to add something to the movie to make the audience come to the theaters.  The audience can appreciate the work of the director only if they go and watch the movie and then the mouth to mouth publicity starts.  

In order to attract the audience, special appearances of the stars with good fan following is an old trick.  But still it works.  

Adavi Sesh who is acting and also directing the movie 'Kiss' too wanted to add this type of hype to the movie.  He wants to show Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh in the movie.  Instead of bothering the busy stars, he chose to add clippings from Panja and Dookudu movies of the stars.  How smart he is!

Adding clippings also is an old trick.  Although a poor substitution, adding of a clipping like remembering Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee in a fight scene by the hero or a comedian or clipping of Gandhi's Salt Satyagraha Yatra when a patriotic song is shown.  Much before it in black and white days, a clipping of birds were shown when lovers meet, birds would fly when a person is liberated, an owl or a tiger was shown when a villain attempts to rape and a burst of lava or a rough weather on sea was shown when a hero or a heroine gets bad news and so on.  

Let us hope that the clip trick in 'Kiss' movie of Adavi Sesh gives it a boosting.
